The Impact of Government Funding on Nanotechnology Firms
Bay Area leaders in the nanotech industry join Congressman Mike Honda to discuss the ways in which government funding and public-private investment will facilitate the research and development and the commercialization of the nanotechnology industry.
The panel will address the effect Honda's recent legislation will have on government investment in nanotech start-ups, the ways in which the funding will facilitate product development and the opportunities and limitations of government funding versus private investment.
The panel discussion is sponsored by the Commonwealth Club Silicon Valley and hosted by Carnegie Mellon University West Coast Campus, Moffett Field. It will take place on Tuesday, November 30 beginning at 6:30 PM with a wine and cheese networking session. The panel discussion immediately follows at 7:00 PM.
