April 29, 2008: Feynman Prizes in Nanotechnology: Nominations due May 31Top Nanotech Researchers to be HonoredMenlo Park, CA —April 29, 2008 – Nominations are now being accepted for two prestigious nanotechnology prizes. The Foresight Institute Feynman Prizes, named in honor of pioneer physicist Richard Feynman, are given in two categories, one for experiment and the other for theory in nanotechnology. Established in 1993, the prizes honor researchers whose recent work has most advanced the achievement of Feynman's goal for nanotechnology: the construction of atomically-precise products through the use of productive nanosystems. "The Feynman Prizes have recognized the most important nanoresearch work for over a decade. We invite the nanotech community to let us know who most deserves to join this group of brilliant achievers," said Christine Peterson, President of Foresight Nanotech Institute.
